We
at Saint Paul Lutheran Church invite and welcome all who desire
to hear the inspired Word of God.
Since
the establishment of our congregation in 1924, the mission of
our church has been to proclaim the truth of the Gospel in the
community of Pana and to support Christ's Church throughout the
world.
Being
Christian, our church teaches and responds to the love of the
Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Being
Lutheran, our church accepts and teaches the Christ-centered teaching
of Martin Luther that inspired the Reformation of the Christian
Church in the 16th century.
Being
“confessional”, we hold to the Lutheran Confessions
as the correct interpretation and presentation of the Biblical
doctrine. Contained in the Book of Concord, these statements of
beliefs were put into writing by church leaders during the 16th
century and have withstood the ultimate test: the test of time.
